Our original classes were called Bike Combat, and they were interesting to say the least!
As Rukus Athletics has evolved, our core mission has stayed the same: " Movement Makes You Feel Better." We know that most people work desk jobs these days, and are looking to move better, and be healthier. Rukus Athletics looks to meet you at your level, and get you moving safely, in an energetic environment with like-minded members!
We craft each class to be approachable, and manageable, by any member who comes to class. We work to modify moves as needed, add a degree of difficulty if someone is up for the challenge, and be there to correct if needed.
Our instructors care about you, and your goals. With different classes available, we are able to meet clients at their level, and help them succeed.
We are a community of members who work hard, laugh a lot, and sometimes let out a curse word. We are real. Our instructors realize this, and work to make the classes modifiable to what you need for that day!
This class is our option for those looking to get in to classes, and want to learn more of what we do, how we do it, and what moves you can look to expect in our Sprint Classes. But don't sleep on this class; it's still Rukus Athletics-based and Weill give you a heck of a workout.
Our flagship class incorporates a bit of everything we have to offer. From sled pushes sprinting down the turf, to slams and wall balls, you will find a mix of it all. Cardio and Strength abound.
Here we work for longer periods to allow members to use heavier weights and not worry about having to move right in to another exercise. You will find barbells, trap bars, and heavier implements. If you have little to no experience with barbells, please message us before coming to class.
